CCTV Monitoring Agent – Karachi
Company: GCCTVMS
Location: Karachi, Pakistan (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Night shifts available
Experience Level: Entry to Mid-Level
The Position
GCCTVMS is hiring a CCTV Monitoring Agent to join our frontline security operations in Karachi. You’ll monitor live surveillance feeds from businesses especially USA, UK & Singapore —warehouses storing high-value inventory, hospitals protecting patients and staff, car dealerships with millions in assets, and commercial properties requiring constant oversight.
This role demands sustained focus. You’ll watch multiple screens simultaneously, identify threats before they escalate, and take immediate action when seconds matter. Your decisions directly impact whether a burglary gets stopped, an unauthorized person gets intercepted, or emergency services arrive in time.
Your Daily Work
You’ll sit at a monitoring station equipped with advanced surveillance technology, overseeing 20-30 camera feeds at once. Each screen shows a different location—a parking lot in Karachi, a warehouse in Lahore, a retail space in Islamabad.
Threat detection is your primary function. You’ll spot suspicious behavior: someone climbing a fence at 3 AM, a person attempting to break a lock, vehicles circling a property repeatedly, or unauthorized individuals entering restricted areas. When you identify a threat, you’ll follow established protocols—activate two-way audio to issue warnings, alert on-site security personnel, or contact local police depending on the severity.
Communication happens constantly. You’ll use intercom systems to speak directly with guards on the ground, provide them with real-time updates about what you’re seeing, and guide their response. If someone’s trying to enter through the east gate while the guard patrols the west side, you’ll redirect them immediately.
Who Succeeds Here
Observers, not scrollers. You can maintain concentration for 8-10 hour shifts without mental drift. When most people would zone out, you stay sharp.
Communicators who stay calm. When you spot an intruder, you’ll need to relay information clearly and quickly—no panic, no confusion. Security guards and police depend on accurate descriptions and directions.
Night owls welcome. Many shifts run from 8 PM to 8 AM. If you function better after sunset, this suits you.
Previous security or surveillance work helps but isn’t required. We’ve trained people from customer service, hospitality, and administrative backgrounds who had the right temperament and learned fast.
Computer skills at a functional level. You don’t need to code, but you should navigate software, type incident reports, and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
What You Get
Starting salary is competitive for Karachi’s surveillance sector, with additional allowances for night and weekend shifts. You’ll receive full training on our monitoring systems, protocols, and threat assessment procedures—typically 1 week before you’re on your own.
Advancement happens internally. Monitoring agents who perform well move into supervisory roles, client relations positions, or specialized surveillance analysis. Several of our current team leaders started at monitoring stations.
You’ll work in a modern facility designed for extended shifts—proper ergonomic seating, climate control, and a supportive team environment.
This work matters. You’ll prevent theft, stop trespassers, and potentially save lives by catching medical emergencies or safety hazards before they become tragedies.
